switch singers mid-line
Press play, then flip between Suno and ChatCut. The other singer picks up at the same line. Both are set to the same loudness, so neither sounds better just by being louder.

From Claude Code I asked Suno to remake its own song as a slow xinyao-style ballad: nylon-string guitar, harmonica, soft vocals. Same lyrics, new style, about 40 seconds to make.

| My take on the voice | Sings differently. I like it | Also good |
From one test on 31 Oct 2026. Suno ran on its free model (v6-mini); its paid plans use newer models. One take each, so luck plays a part.
what I heard
- my take
Suno sings differently from ChatCut, and I like it. ChatCut is also good. I’ll keep both and pick by the feel a song needs.
- fair test
ChatCut’s file came out about 3 dB louder. Louder tends to sound better, so I levelled both before putting them side by side.
